Most Expensive Divorce Settlements in History

What makes divorce more brutal than fighting over child custody? Fighting over money but the good news is, once the fighting is over and the dust settles you’ll never have to worry about how to pay the mortgage. Well, that’s the way it is for some. Not many, but some.

I’ve often told my friends that the next man who leaves me will be VERY wealthy. I WILL get a solid return on my investment! After seeing the infograph below I’m even more determined to marry for money the next time around.

As a side note, Anna Torv was married to Rupert Murdoch for 31 years and received a settlement of $1.7 billion. Wendi Deng received $1.8 billion for only 13 years. Wendi spent less time with Murdoch but the pay-out was more? That is a major rise in the general level of prices of goods and “services.” Inflation!
