Los Angeles artist Susan Logoreci creates stunning drawings of cityscapes and blogs about life, and sites, in big cities. Check out her gorgeous Blogger Space below.
I am primarily an artist but I also write a bit. I have been keeping my current blog, called Psychic Garage Sale, for about a year-and-a-half.
The drawings I make are of cities. I like to read about and photograph Los Angeles as well as research other cities. I’m also interested in urban planning, sustainable planning and urban design. I follow a lot of blogs that cover these topics.
My blog is part sketchbook, part diary, part bulletin board. I usually blog from the couch in my art studio which is in my house.
Blogs are great for artists because in addition to having a web site that showcases the finished work, you can let people see the process a bit and what inspires and feeds the work. I wish more artists would take the time to do it.
Blogger Space is a series devoted to showcasing the places bloggers choose to write. Want to show off your digs? Send a photo of your space, a blurb about why you write where you do, and link to your blog to [email protected].

OMG! I am thrilled to read about your blog space, Susan! As you know, I’m a huge fan of your drawings (have two, want more) and I think your blog is very cool. How wonderful to get to see where it all happens.

I visited both Ms. Logoreci’s web site and her blog. Interesting materials; I’m sorry I won’t be at LAX to see the mural up close. Both her photographs and her artwork are quite captivating. I would recommend to anyone to click on the above links. You won’t be disappointed.
