Duana Welch (pronounced DWAY-nah) earned her Ph.D. in developmental psychology at the University of Florida, Gainesville. She is the author of Love Factually: 10 Proven Steps from I Wish to I Do (January, 2015), as well as popular relationship blog LoveScience, which addresses advice on how the public can benefit from empirical research about successful relationships.
She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and writes regularly for Psychology Toda, eHarmony, and other publications. She has also received numerous teaching awards, and now professes psychology at colleges and universities in Austin, Texas.
