Suzanne Schwarz

Suzanne Schwarz resides in Northern Bergen County, New Jersey with her two teen boys. She began teaching in 1991 in the New York City public schools and became a transition specialist for the Alternative High Schools in 1997. In 2009 she started a non-profit organization called Our Children Can Learn which raises money to support programs that specialize in the treatment of children and
adults that have autism and related issues. The mission of the organization is to give every individual the opportunity to participate fully and successfully in society. She is also a sibling of a brother with autism.

Suzanne holds her Master’s of Science (M.S.) in Special Education with a concentration in the field of learning disabilities and behavior management as well as her M.S. in School Administration and Supervision from Hunter College in New York City.
