Snow, snow, snow. Three big storms and another on the way. Melt, thaw, melt, thaw. The driveway is a sheet of ice.
There’s no rock salt to buy, the shelves are empty. We’re down to the bottom of the bucket and hoarding what we have left.
But for the last few days, the sun made an appearance and I sat outside (in my snow pants) on the lawn furniture… hot tea in hand. While I soaked up some Vitamin D, I watched the hawks circle overhead. The nuthatches are nerping at me as they poke around the pine trees. Even a week of cloud cover can’t hide the fact that Spring will come and the Sun always shines.
That’s all… nothing much to say for now. Just me, the birds, a quiet moment, and a string of bright sunny days….
