Another super simple dinner to keep the kids fed. Don’t forget to feed yourself, too.
Crock Pot Pork Chops
4 pork chops
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste

Put everything into the crock pot. Set it to Low. Walk away for 5 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes. Those instant mashed potatoes in the envelope package work really well.

Marriage is definatly broken, but I doubt that open marriages will work for most. I have an old friend who has a pseudo open marriage. It’s technically open, but in actual practice, it’s kind of one sided. His wife is bi. Sometimes she brings it home, but most of the time, her partners are lesbians who have no interest in what she has at home. He went into the relationship with his eyes wide open. It was probably a lot of fun for him at first.
At this point, I think he’s staying for the kids. With few exceptions, Dads tend to get marginalized in divorces. What I’m curious about is what happens when the kids leave the nest. Will he move on? Will he feel free to take advantage of the open rules himself? If she wasn’t so secure, would she be willing or able to limit her extracurricular activities? Is she truely bi and might she want to settle down permanantly with a female parnter? We’ll see.
