Is perfection attainable? Not according to Daniel Gilbert. In his book, Stumbling on Happiness, he writes:
…if we adhere to the standard of perfection in all our endeavors, we are left with nothing but mathematics and the White Album. So maybe we just need to accept a bit of fuzziness and stop complaining.
Let go of the thought of perfection. Are we all waiting to do something until we feel we can do it perfectly? If so, we’ll never do it.
Show the courage to try. And try again. And try again after that. Screw being perfect.
