Today’s random happy thought is furniture shopping on Halloween is great!
As parents troll the neighborhoods with their little ghosts, goblins, and gouls, my friend and I headed out to the uber-popular furniture store so I could pick out my birthday gift to myself.
The aisles were so empty, we could have jumped from couch to couch to couch without having another “more adult” soul look at us with a disapproving eye.
Yay.
Doing it over & over & over again until I do it right…I am every woman. I’m normal, intelligent, have children, work for a living, putz in my garden, and like to cook. I also am a perfectionist, judgmental, critical, and fail at relationships. I love being married, I am supportive of my husband (whoever it may be at the time!), I am willing to learn new things, reading all kinds of books, and enjoy traveling to places big and small.
