In my world, the probability of success and the probability of failure are both the same: Unknown.
We can look at statistics and say things like second and third marriages are more likely to fail. But what we forget is that our individual experiences are different. We have the same chances to succeed and the same chances to fail. It doesn’t matter what some other couple’s outcome was…it isn’t ours.
Using statistics is a cloak of fear. More people may fail, but there are successes. Are we too afraid to try and beat the odds?
Life is unknown…
