I promised a post. I also promise that I will return from the Sierras. With both dudes.
Alive.
We will either erect the tent, build the fire, roast the marshmallows and scarf the chocolate or we’ll be playing craps in Reno with an entertaining smattering of characters, to be sure.
I have a wild little tale to tell of my encounter while writing the last post. One of those gems that serves to confirm for me that there are many dimensions and layers to our life here. A simple comment to a stranger – It’s hot in here, don’t you think? – led to tears for both of us. As I wrote about my near death experience he told me about real death. I will weave it into what I write as I’m fireside with a pen and journal – I haven’t done that in awhile – in the shadow of the Sierras. The computer will stay home for the next four days.
We’re going retro.
Trout fishing. Miniature golf. Hiking. Scary stories. Lots of cuddling.
And don’t forget the meteor shower!
The Perseids rain upon us this weekend. Best time for viewing is early Monday morning. Our meteor ritual consists of vats of hot chocolate, sleeping bags, and an alarm set for 1:00AM. I know, sleep rocks. But if you haven’t taken in a meteor shower lately then please join us. Commit to two hours outside, empty your head, curl up in your heart, and forget about all the 3D clutter that obscures the magic.
I guarantee that you will feel more alive, grounded, connected, centered, and instead of looking tired you’ll look and feel sexy.
Each time silver streaks across the sky oooh and ahhh and take a moment to breath in how wild it is that we are floating in space, surrounded by stars, creating our present – which will create our future.
It’s a perfect night for manifesting.
I’m off to cram way too much stuff in our car. I’ll be posting to twitter and facebook. Please take the time to follow and friend me. That way when I post pics of our tent in a bunch at midnight you can send me the directions for properly erecting it.
That will help me keep the bears off the dudes.
I’m naming each streaking meteor after each one of you.
Love yourself,
Cleo
