June Cleaver would bake homemade goodies for the boys teachers and so do I. Have you shown your kid’s teacher some seasonal love? They’re with your kid all day. Sure they’re being paid to, but think about it. They’re outnumbered, overworked and underpaid. (Disclosure: I was a teacher in my former life). A happy teacher is a happy classroom and a happy student. Yes, they love what they do but they’re paying attention too. Seriously, if you ever have an issue to discuss do you think you’ll get better results if you’ve ignored them otherwise all year? A treat from a parent every so often goes a long way to improving the quality of campus life. Bake up a batch too, won’t you?
