If Only

If Only…

….. I could finish the plans that I start ( Maybe I would be rich!)

….. I could like what I see when I look in the mirror

…… I could have some self confidence

….. I would not worry what people think when I leave the room

….. I could pay my bills without worry

….. I would never be lonely again

….. I would never be tired again

I could start again

I have spent so much of my life saying “If Only”, that I have stopped holding myself accountable to what it is that I want, and the excuses that prevent me from getting all those things. So, for all the excuses I offer myself, I ask myself what I am being cheated of by offering the crutch of “If Only”.
