About Single Parent Madge

Madge Madigan is a nationally known blogger, freelance writer, magazine editor and published author from Rochester, NY.  Madge has been a freelance writer for over fifteen years, specializing in marketing pieces, web content, and feature articles.

Ms. Madigan recently published her first book, “When Life Gives You Lemons… at Least You Won’t Get Scurvy!”  a humorous (yes humorous) look at surviving divorce after an abusive marriage.  Her book is insightful as well as witty, filled with life lessons and reasons to laugh at your troubles.  Madge is a fabulous and funny single mother of three teenage children.

Through post-divorce poverty, unemployment, homelessness and public assistance, she manages to now have a son attending NYU, and her girls are A students in high school.
