As part of her Christmas present to me, Franny surprised me with this candlelit dinner a few nights before Christmas. This is what I found waiting for me when I got home from work.
Unaware of Franny’s culinary effort, Atticus brought me home chicken kabobs from my favorite Mediterranean place. Franny happily ate my kabobs while I dined on Trader Joe’s.
It was one of my favorite meals ever.
Today, I’m thankful for my thoughtful daughter.
That is so sweet! What a lovely gesture. You’ve raised your kids right
Thanks, Lisa — but I can’t take much credit, I think she pretty much came out of the chute that way.
How sweet and caring! Unsolicited acts of care and kindness from children are so completely genuine, and a pure expression of love.
