Is it Mommy Wars or a Game of Thrones?

To be honest I have only been following this a little, I’ve read a few articles about the whole Hilary Rosen/Anne Romney thing. I haven’t watched any news programs or seen any commentary. That isn’t true. I saw one minute of it and thought,

“WTF, is this for real? They are making this shit up again to take the focus off the economy,” and I turned the channel quicker than shit.

For Real. That is what I think.

Apparently, they think we are that stupid.

I know nothing about military tactics, but you don’t have to be the coordinator of the GED to figure out that if they can get the peasants to attack each other then we take each other out, leaving the noblemen to roam and rule the land.

(Excuse me, I have been watching Game of Thrones).

(Really, I only noticed women are seriously talking about these whole ‘mommy wars’ because I saw arguments on Facebook.) For women to be fighting each other about who works harder, SAHM or Working Moms, is total bullshit and I thought we were above that now. We all work like dogs. It is hard to stay home with the monsters and it is hard to leave them. I’ve done both. When I was at work I felt like a shit mom and when I’m home I am unfulfilled, boring and poor.

BOTH SUCK TO HIGH HEAVEN

Kids survive either choice.

I keep thinking I am lost in a Mad Men episode (I wish) that we are talking about this old crap again. Is it just me or are we in a time warp?

Abortion was legalized. Planned Parenthood was funded. Health insurance paid for birth control. Women can work and become CEO’s of major corporations and Governors and Secretary of State. Or, they can stay home and be mom’s that stay at home with their children. They can even home school.

Refresh my memory. Why are we talking about this stuff again?

And yes, Hilary Rosen is an idiot or she misspoke. So what! Anne Romney will never know how hard I work. Her life is different. All of those politicians, politician’s wives and talking heads have more money than I do, more childcare than I did, and more help at home. I would imagine few of them would ever be lining up to trade their life for mine or can relate to me since I had a panic attack at the Honda Service Center today because I had to buy a new tire for $252. .
