It’s Called a Smokey Eye

Every time I see this GoGurt commercial 

I relate to this woman.

I think this is me as I am cruising into menopause.

She says to her kids, 

“What? It’s called the smokey eye.”

 

Sometimes my kids look at me like I’m insane.

Which isn’t far from the truth.

Can’t I be young anymore?

Am I that old and embarrassing?

Must they look like they would rather be dead

than for me to get out of the car at school?

Surely there are worse moms.

Must they roll their eyes when I

do the booty dance in the kitchen?

By the way, I’m excellent at it.

I’v e got my smokey eye going

and my Crushed Cherry Chanel lipgloss,

Smoking Hot nails

and I plan to booty dance all weekend.
